Christmas Tour of an Artist’s Collected Home

I thought it would be fun to share a few photos of my home decorated for Christmas. I am an artist who enjoys thrifting, vintage décor, nostalgia, and sentimental pieces. I tend to be a bit eclectic and like to mix a little bit of new with my vintage finds. My hope is that this inspires you to create a traditional, European, collected, and cozy home for Christmas.

There are a few things that I purchase new for Christmas: velvet ribbon, artificial wreaths or garland, lights, and ornaments. Other than that, most things you see were secondhand, inherited, and the like.

Our home is small — built in 1949 — but we love the architecture. The arches and molding around the ceiling are so beautiful. Decorating for Christmas is always a joy!
